View Full Version : Impulse On Gun Co2
Ok, what the heck is an impulse, is it any good and what can it do, better than an auto cocker? or tippmann A-5, please tell, thanks.
As i have just noticed when i buy my tippy a-5 with flatline it will cost around £500, which could go on an impulse instead, so what u guys think?

Impys kick arse. No question. :D
If you're thinking about an Imp, go for a second-hand vision model
(£350ish for a good 'un)
They're much better than a standard 'cocker & comparible to an E-Blade.
22 bps, cycling rate. 18bps firing rate, upgradeable as hell :D
tourney spec straight from the box.
Honestly, don't waste the money on an A5, it's fine for playing in the woods, but you may well want to take up tournament play.
An Imp will be fine for rec-balling & if you ever do get the bug for sup-air, you'll allredy have a worthy marker.Look at what many tourney players still use! :D The Imp's been around for donks now & are still as popular as hell. Go for it mate !!!!:D
i can personaly strongly recomend the impuse as i bought one my self. this gun has got to be one of the most upgradble markers ont the market today. with this marker comes quality and good performance.
if u buy a impulse on co2 (which i have as wel) make sure it has a anti syphon tube in it as u dont wont that liquid c02 being drowne into the marker with the micro circuitry.
the imp is a top notch marker :D :D
But i Have no intention of playing tornaments, i only play rec ball, so what then?
Are they bad if it rains with the electronics inside?
Are they acurate?
The electronics are on the inside not the outside sounless u want to go swimming with it, it'll be fine.
Accurate? Well on a tournament pitch , bout the size of a 5 a side footie pitch, you can normally pick out a hopper or foot in bout 5 balls with a freak barrel. So yeah i'd say its reasonabley accurate?
Impulses are up there with cockers, shocker, matrixes etc etc. They are probably the second most upgradeable guns after cockers too, which is a very good thig as you can upgrade it bit by bit.
