Campaign Oh what a lovely day

Campaign on the Sunday oh what a lovely day. Must say severe Sunburn on the face and the look of an embarassed panda. But coming from a recballer I quite enjoyed myself. Wasn't playing just watching and shopping. There were some excellent games one which will always stay with me was Nexus semi final first game against Russian Legion in which with total precision Nexus mowed down the ruskies with style. They lost the other 2 but it was a great start. Looking at some of the novice teams I wonder if i'll ever be good enough to compete. Zone winning their novice finals was a sight to behold with all the jumping and whooing but great players who will go on to bigger things.

The photo is only of fields 1 & 2. There were another 6 fields scattered around but unless you knew they were there you wouldn't have noticed.

Grant, I've only been playing tournie ball since March / April time and I played @ Campaign this year. Played for a scratch team of europeans and won 4 out of 10, and rank 28/62. Had an excellent weekend. I saw players there with markers as basic as the Inferno (YES INFERNO), and with top of the range bling busters. If you want to play CC2k4 help your team get there or join a scratch team. The experience is unforgettable

That sounds like a brilliant idea. What did you do just turn up on the day and say play ball?

PLay ball? (slap!) Grant, i wish u lcuk at the best of times when we go paintballing together as u and me both know u need it, but if u get on a team next year i wish you all the lcuk in the world, as u should now start preparing to have ur ass handed to u in the brown socked paper bag!

Every one on our team met through the P8nt forum. Teams where even looking for players the day b4 the event. You got a team there mate, so make it your goal to play Campaign next year. It aint cheap £300 min for the weekend, but worth every penny

Thanks for that oh Dark one. I will be there next year if I have to sell my own Brother to a knackers yard for glue I will be there. You know after months of rubbish you've inspired me to get good and tommorow I'm going to renew my membership in the gym and get working. I'm hopefully getting booked on a training day with nexus for October and there's the walk on next weekend with NPF in Birmingham and not forgetting Star Wars i'm going to busy.......and skint but how else am I going to get a pretty piece of silverware for the mantelpiece.
