Airsource Kit ???

I bought the start package which includes a 'Airsource Kit'. On the information for the kit it says 'Good for over 200 shots'...

I was just wondering how many shots you could get out of one of these kits?

Will it beable to shoot 600 ?

Also are the Airsource Disposable Tanks refillable if I take it to an air filling company ?

When it says over 200 shots it means 200 - 250 ish. It is impossilbe to tell exactly.

The Airsourse kit is NOT refillable!

Once you have used it thats it, they are a disposable tanks and are sold as such. Once you have pierced the outer shell when you screw the adapter on your marker into the tank their is no way to reverse it.

Still they are ok at £4ish a pop (I just ordered some and they are out of stock at the mo more in on moday I hear tho)

How many shots will a 12oz Bottle or a 20 oz Bottle last ?

I read the info on the Anti Syphon Tube, are these required for the Airsource kit ?

Which is better Air or Co2 ?

12oz about 800 shots
20oz about 1500 shots

Airs is alot better but more expensive and u need more refills

Ideally you would have an anti syphon in the air sourse but they don't have them (correct me if I am wrong Andy) but it will be ok.

If you play fairly regular I surgest getting a 20oz for less hassel and refills. Unless you are thinking about entering tournements then you will be spending alot of money

if ur a recballer at a local site that caters for non owners then u dont need co2 at all jus go down and ask for a bottle.

i live a long way away from my Paintball site, if I want to do anything with my marker I need a sourse of CO2.
Sure you can fill your CO2 tank up but it is nice to have a few spare disposable tanks for trying out stuff on your markers like barrel acuracy, trying out new kit and praticing stuff like walking the trigger (firing fast) and such.

i got my self an air source kit and spair tank, alithough they work for around 225 shots the pressure inside them is quite low and my marker (mirrarge semi auto) keepes making BBRRB noies and stoping with the bolt in the un-coked position which it dose not do with a 20oz tank did i do something wrong?:( :)

Is it just doing that at the end of the tank? The airsource is filled with liquid CO2, so it outputs exactly the same pressure into your marker as a 12 or 20oz bottle of liquid CO2 would. One thing to note though, the airsource doesn't have an anti syphon tube fitted in it, so maybe your problem is to do with drawing liquid CO2? do you have an expansion chamber on your mirage? Does your 20oz bottle have an anti syphon tube in it?

i will oil my gun and hopefully it will work proplely and yes i do have an anty syphen on my 20oz bottle.
