View Full Version : Decocking a gun???
Simply question im sure.
I read in the users manual how to decock a gun and it says remove the air...
But how do you decock it with the air still attached. I have plenty of air left in my supply and as the gun is not in use would like it decocked.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
What marker do you have? Is it running on air or CO2?
Bone Daddy... The starter pack gun.
Co2
im presuming ur still onna boot the airsource.....u must detach it an airsource should never be left attached.....it says on the instructions. u need to use it up then decocking as informed in the instructions. seems a bit of a waste of co2 but its gurt fun to depressurise usin the adapter and watch as it freezes air.....:D:D dont try this its jus my gun was messing up...it is actually quite dangrous:D
erm....if you just wanna decock it for safety between games, hold the bolt (or the bit attached) and pull the trigger, then let it in slowly.
why not just take the CO2 off?
It should have a pin valve or an on/off valve on the bottle.
If it has a pin valve, unscrew it by one turn and fire a few shots to relieve the pressure then remove the bottle.
he got the bone daddy starter i think hes talkin boot the airsource with it....so that doesnt work
if its a standard screw in fitting with a pin valve it will...
But I don't think it is - does anyone know if the airsource adapter is actually a pin valve, or is it just a straight through thing designed purely for puncturing the airsource bottle top?
*slaps Semi_G With a 20oz Co2 bottle*
waste the airsource and get a 20oz bottle + on/off valuve it's alot easier
The airsources are not designed to replace a refillable bottle, they are for people that don't have easy access to CO2 for whatever reasons. Complementary, not competetive products :D
