well it used to be a q2 mod. But now that they have realesed the sorce code it's s standalone. So you can make maps for it using q2 map making editors like QuArK Bsp ect ect

I have played it a few times - it's a really good laugh, there's actually a UK team running a server for it - can't remember the details, think it was posted on another forum - search on google for UK digital paintball server or something and you might be able to dig it out - or just use gamespy and filter the server names for uk and try to find it there. Once I've got broadband at our house in York I'll be playing it a bit :D

Edit: Hmm, thats odd, I was talking about the Halflife mod digital paintball - not the quake 2 mod. Is your one newer or older, or running side by side or what? Always nice to have some choices!

Lol silly me :rolleyes: Hl paintball sux a bit Q2 is alot better. With Digitalpaintball has been going for about 6 years and since then it has gotten very good. if the server is faster enough i think you can get about 25 peeps in 1 team and have up to 4 teams :D and you have a decent ammount of guns you can pick up witch are

Pgp - You start with it
Trracer - a bit sucky
Stinger - *cough*
Carbine - My fave
Spyder - it takes co2 for some reason
Automag - a decent gun
Autococker - The Allmighty

And there is a decent rage of co2

12 gram powerlet - start off with 1 and have a unlimeted ammount
8oz
12oz
16oz
20oz

i'm sure u can't get some of those irl

and it's comes with 100,200 and 300 hoppers + 3 types of barrels

wow the took some time. that my my 2 cent

Unfortunatly, on the 26th of November, er33t, the main server hosting 4 of the games, will be closing down :(.

This will only leave only 1 playable server, "Sads". Hopfully someone will pick up the pieces of er33t and re-open the servers. If not it looks like the end of DP for the near future.
