Please could someone advise me on the best substances for lubing the moving parts.
At the moment im using vaseline for the bolt o-rings, is this ok?

What lubes are best for the ram and lpr and main reg and how so i go about this? Should i put something in the ASA before i air the marker up? and if so, what?

Thanks.

NO! Don't use Vaseline on your o-rings. Does them a whole world of no good.

Follow the link. This, or one of many other products like it made especially for paintball markers, is the sort of stuff best for most paintball markers. Make sure you clean off ALL the Vaseline first.
As for lubing it through the ASA, yes, 5 or 6 drops of the same in there, then gas it up and dry fire it for about 20 shots to make sure the oil gets all through the system. Hope this helps. :D

I'd go for dow corning 33. Works on regs, bolts, moving parts, its what ive used on all my guns. Some parts require thicker layers than others. Weather its right or not, i find it works, even dispite manufacturers guidelines in some cases (Egos). Im sure rob will post up better **** than this, but itll tied u over till he does.

Im a bit more generous on reg o-rings and seals. But on bolts and moving parts (esspecially Timmys and Egos) you need a very light layer but enough so that its not gone after the first few hundred shots. I've just this second cleaned my DM6 cos i found it skipping shots at 30bps with that Dye lube, its a bit thick. A quick lube with Dow Corning and cycles flawlessless now :)
