Anyone else had these sorta conversations and had to compromise with the missus?
Just had to add more to the ole mortgage and basically sign my life away on even more bricks and mortar.. But hey on the upside its perfect for me cos i managed to wrangle the important places (only to us blokes)

Conversation went something like:
Her: Look at all ur clutter! find a place for it!
Me: Erm i already have, where else can i put it?
Her ****** ***** ******* ****
Me: erm i'll tidy it...
Her: we need more room cos of all your S***
Me: probably
Her: I want a bigger house with a bedroom that actually has a bed that someone can sleep on without paintball stuff on it
Me: Told u i didnt want a bed in here

Few weeks later, found a house, deciding rooms:

Me: Baggy this room for me PC and paintball stuff!! and NO BED!
Her: um...
Me: use the other room as guest bedroom etc..
Her: No, u cant keep alla ya PB stuff in here..
Me: Ok, i take the garage and this room , you take the rest of the house
Her: OK
Me: (Muhahahahahaa i got my way!)
Her: (Sucker!)

so now i can finally hang my markers and organise my stuff (sorta) instead of piling it all in a corner and all over the spare bedroom :DD

Muchas happiness now :D

Don't want to rain on your parade but depending on your area I would suggest locking away, covering or hiding anything you put in a garage. I know of several people in my area who have had their garages broken into and our own was broken into through a sturdy, locked door and they pinched my dad trials bike!.

Would a loft conversion or something work out for you? I'd rather have my gear out the way of the missus, the housephone (no more having to put everything down to answer just leave it for her!) and criminals.

Don`t assume that all wives/girlfriends are the same as yours.
Some of us enjoy paintballing.

Why not introduce your other half to the joys of paintball and maybe then you would`nt have to argue over space in the house for all your gear and gats.:D

Ia loft conversion woulda been a solution except we're gettin a three storey one so what is technically the loft is now the main bedroom :/
The area's pretty fine and just gonna invest in a minefield and electrified door for the garage :D (mental note: rememebr to switch elec off before trying the handle)
Btw Sry Mrs Gasman if i offended u in anyway.. Tough! :P hehe joking aside, just wondered if anyone else is having to barter paintball into their lives.. then again i think i DO go a tad overboard, at one point i had one of each mask almost, list was 2 profilers(1 black + 1 red), Dye Invision, Proteus black and a Spectra all for 1 head (at last count anyway). Also what didnt help was me storing overfilled Co2 bottles in warm bedroom and giving GF's mums dog that we were lookin after at the time a heart attack when the burst disk went on 1 of em at 2am... oopsie LOVE <3 AIR :P

No offence taken.
Maybe some of you are not as lucky as GASMAN.
i.e You need to escape from your wife/partner etc and have to fight for space to keep all your gear/gats.
We just keep his and mine in any space we can fit it,and as long as he checks with me first,he can go paintballing whenever he wants as long as it does not clash with work.:D

My wife is cool too - she encourages me to go paintballing - even bought me a marker :)
