Hi Guys/Gals,
Just got into the world of paintballing, played a couple of times but just recently bought my own sem auto gun. I have also got a 20 Oz Co2 bottle (which is empty).
My question is : where do you guys fill up your Co2 bottles and how much does it usually cost? and if there is anybody reading this who live in west wales please advise where you fill yours.

I don't live in wales, but the field should have the facilities to fill it, or a local paintball shop (scuba shop if there is one) and it shouldn't cost more than a coupla pounds.

Thx for the quick reply, guess i need to contact my local shop, just wondering who else uses Co2 ? do welders use it ?

some welders do use it, but you usually get a crap brittle weld because of it,so nowadays not many do but ask around tho mate.:D
so thats why my welding looks like rat droppings.
Most sites have co2 and will fill your bottle when you play there.
Failing that ask your favorite pub landlord.
You could try tracking down your local fire extinguisher supplier or service engineer. I used to get mine filled at one before I went to air.
Where in wales you from mate? Im in south west wales and there are a few places i get my c02 from, Cenarth paintball does it, and also my local culla park do it too, cost about 50p if that, depends if your nice to them or not, lol

Hi Guys,
I am from south west too, near h/west, i have sent an e-mail to cenarth and they said they cannot fill me up because of insurance reasons.... :-(
Do you guys play regulary? maybe we can meet up and battle out.....

yeah mate anytime ... we are based in carmarthen/swansea.... if u can get up to carmarthen u can get ur co2 filled...

You could try Heatherton near tenby or Cresselly Combat, in cresselly 01646 651372 (although they only open when they have punters booked in). Cresselly have filled mine before.

cool, that would be good, i have a core sharc semi auto gun and cause it was bought from the states we have to get a new co2 canaster because nobody will fill up for us with a usa canaster.
once ordered we will have to meet and play........should be this week sometime.

just out of curiosity, do you know if that rule of not filling US bottles applies to HPA?
DOT tested bottles cannot be filled in the UK except by American citizens temporarily in the UK. Ony HSE and CE tested bottles (CO2 or HPA) can be filled in the UK. Furthermore, you cannot buy HSE bottles anymore.

tom, what exactly do you mean by"except by American citizens temporarily in the UK"? as in only american tourists? and if so what places could I get it filled?(I'm an american citizen attending a university here)
Basically as far as I understand it, it is to allow american teams to use their own kit when playing over here, rather than having to get new bottles. As a longer term resident, I don't think you could convince anywhere to fill a DOT bottle. Certainly HPAC wouldn't do it.

no mate buy the 20oz co2 whith on/off adapter ..... i bet andy will fit it for you if you ask nicely and then all u do is refill it :D

cheers mate.....what about the ani-syphon for the bottles ? do they just fit into the top ?
