View Full Version : Paintballs
What is temp in Celseious you should keep your paintballs @?
Stash em in your airing cupboard, keeps mine ace. Still got some from 18 months ago, sweet as the day they were hatched.
Paintballs should be kept at 50-86 degrees F. or 10-30 degrees C
They should also be kept in an environment that does not exceed 50% humidity.

So keeping them in the freezer is a big no no then:D :D :D :D
Wish I could play more often, but that's another story. The ones I had for 18 months seem to have been forgotten about in several house moves. My well trained other half put them in the airing cupboard, and didn't tell me about it, so they were probably in there for more than 18 months. Made for a nice cheap day at my last walk-on.
are midnight paintballs any good?
Here's a rough guide.
Draxxusus Hellfire - Very brittle ball and it is designed that way. Should only be used in low pressure markers (Matrix etc). This is the best ball that money can buy. Use it in a standard marker and you will turn it into soup. Made for the pro's.
Inferno - The best ball available to markers running at standard pressure (800psi). Inferno can be the difference between winning and loosing a game.
Blaze - Top quality ball for all round use. Two tone shell
Midnight - Identical to Midnight but single colour shell.
When it comes to paint, Draxxus is the best by far and don't let anyone tell you any different. I know of so called sponsored teams who practice with their sponsored paints then when it comes to comps they put draxxus in their empty sponsors boxes. How do I know, because we supply them on the QT.
I even know of one other paint supplier, and obviously can't mention any names who reboxes Draxxus into his boxes to get teams to buy his paint in the first place.
Other paints are cheaper than Draxxus but you cannot compare like for like. Draxxus is a completely different product.
It's a bit like comparing a Vauxhall to a BMW. Both are cars and to an untrained woman they do the same job.
If you don't agree with the above and some people won't. Just watch the Draxxus tent at next years campaign cup compared to ALL of the other suppliers tents. Draxxus is like Harrods on sale day, the others resemble a western style ghost town. (At least the Transilvanian girl got to do plenty of sunbathing and got a great tan!!)
