Co2! Friend or Foe?

I just bought my self a Impulse and reading some of the post's on here a air system is the way to go, but is co2 really that bad for a impulse ie frozen co2 near the electrics.

Make sure you have a properly set up anti-syphon tube in the CO2 bottle and you will avoid a lot of problems. Having said that, air is the way to go in the long run, assuming you have a ready supply of it!

air is good but anoying. CO2 is cheap and good to fill.

Why is air annoying? And how how can you say CO2 is 'good' to fill! CO2 is horrible to fill compared with air! Bloody freeze burns, loud venting, weighing the bottle etc etc.

Plus CO2 does not like high rates of fire or strangely enough cold weather. Plus the biggest bottle is 20 oz which at best is no match for a 1.1/4,500 Air bottle

i've allways wonderd why they did't make 25oz 30oz ect bottles co2 would be alot more popular but then again the marker would get heavy and bulky :/

air is annoing because ouy have to have big dive tanks or a pump but most sites will fill co2 bottles for you so they can get the frezz burns!:D

they used to do a 30 or 35 oz bottle as ledz (planet) (nexxus)
used to use one years ago.....borrowed it once ..dam heavy though. :(

Available from Belsales. £400 plus fitting (£25).

Is fitted to any cocker :)

ROF is adjustable from about 12 up over to whatever. Although you need to set its max rof at what your loader is capable of :)

Im also thinking of going to air.....ive been told a scuba diving training place will fill for me....i go about once a month poss soon twice and i have an elec trig.....is it worthwhile for someone after pballin would end up wid 40 a month????
