Please read the following rules and procedures for selling on Talkpaintball.com
1) I have reinstalled the iTrader facility. If you look under the avater of each member, there is a feedback score. This is pretty much the same as ebay. The old itrader values have been imported (Which is a bonus I wasn't expecting) so that anyone who had been rated in the past, has maintained their rating.
If you click on a members name or avater, you will see a new button in the user profile called "Feedback Score". This also has a history that you can see, detailing all past sales and purchases within this forum.
So in summary, Talkpaintball now has an Ebay style feedback system.
2) The 3rd Man.
So we have a feedback rating system for members, but what about those people with very few posts and no rating.
We are going to introduce (As from Feb 2010), a 3rd man service. This will be completely optional, but will be available for anyone who wants it.
We will use Fat Bobs shop as a 3rd Man in any deals between people who request it. So you want to buy a paintball marker from someone with 1 post and no feedback, that no one knows. The answer is simple. The seller sends the marker to Fat Bobs. On receipt of the marker, we post that the marker has arrived. You then send your paypal (Or whatever) payment to the seller. When the seller has posted to say they have recieved the funds, you either collect the marker in person from the shop, or alternatively, we send it to you via courier (You just pay for the cost of the courier £6+VAT)
If the seller drops out of the deal between Fat Bobs recieving the goods for sale and payment being made, Fat Bobs can either, keep the goods until a sale is made, or return the goods to the seller via courier.
3) Anyone who knows a seller can post in their for sale thread info regarding the seller. (eg. I have known this person since birth / he plays for our team etc etc)
4) All for sale ads must include a picture of the equipment being sold, along with the users forum name and date written on a piece of paper next to the equipment for sale. Unless...your picture is of your equipment for sale being used by a page 3 model.
5) Used only, no "New" items to be sold in the for sale forum.
As before, no bottle regulators are to be sold through Talkpaintball.com
