If you book in after 31st December then the prices are frozen at 2013 level - £250 per team.

UWL details can be found on the UWL section of www.shorelineoutdoor.com
There will be two divisions, Pro and Div 1. This splitting of the teams will allow newer or less experienced teams to just play teams of a similar level. THis will improve the competitiveness and mean that every team participating has the chance to win a leg or the entire series. Teams will self seed (i.e. decide with division to play in) but we may issue guidance and advice to ensure your team are placed in the most suited division.
The winner of each division on the day will receive prizes donated by Valken Bluewater which will be well worth having, these will be on top of the trophies, champagne etc.
We will be looking to 'up' the media from the 2014 season with improved photography and video content.
Team and playing rankings will operate as per 2013, however we will introduce a few tweaks to improve the accuracy of the player rankings.
There will be some rule tweaks which will be published on the website well in advance.
Game resets will now be called by the players, not the refs. Each team will have a reset option which they can use at any time but there will be a points penalty incurred for using it.
Series winners will be the team from each division who accumulates the most ranking points over the course of the 4 legs.
We will be collecting more data from players, i.e. what marker you shoot, what paint you shoot etc and publishing this alongside the player rankings tables.
Our player rankings will come closer in to line with the formats used at other UWL events around the world so that UK players can see how they are performing against other UWL players all over the planet.
New UWL training venues will be added to the list - these are sites which offer teams a low cost venue to practice and train.
We are also delighted to have teamed up with the NSC (Dutch Scenario Competition) to create a hybrid UWL/NSC format Cup Competition which will take place at The Citadel event in May 2014 called the European Woodsball Competition (EWC). The aim is for teams from all over Europe who play UWL/NSC/BSC etc to be able to come together, play a format that does not favour one league (i.e. a new hybrid format taking bits from all woodland leagues) and compete against each other to determine the best competitive woodsball team in Europe. The EWC will be a one-off Cup Competition and check this out..........it'll be FREE OF CHARGE if you have a Citadel ticket.
We really hope lots of the UK UWL teams go out and pit themselves against their equivalents from Holland, Belgium, France and Germany and bring back the first ever EWC trophy back to these shores. If this EWC works well this year, I suspect it may be the basis for a genuine Europe wide competition in the future. Its very very exciting. The EWC will not earn ranking points towards UWL....it is a stand alone cup competition and a genuine chance for your team to play for the title of European Champions and bring home the massive trophy. The fact that is is FREE is a super bonus...........further details will be released in good time.
That's it............the UWL section of the website will be updated shortly, if you want to save yourself some cash, then book in early.....if you have any questions then please feel free to post them up.
We really enjoyed the UWL this year and look forward to refining it and improving for the 2014 season. I think about 20 teams took part at various points this season with a couple of hundred players.....it would be great to grow that for year 2 and we think the introduction of two divisions will really help all teams have a genuine chance to be competitive and be in with a shout of winning.
